Natalja Stanski
Dr. Stanski is a pediatric intensivist and acute kidney injury clinical researcher at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC), where she also serves as the co-director for the Center for Acute Care Nephrology. She completed both her pediatric residency and critical care fellowship training at CCHMC. Her research focuses on delineating the heterogeneity of acute kidney injury, particularly in patients with sepsis, through the identification of unique subphenotypes and endotypes that may contribute to treatment response heterogeneity.
Her work is currently funded by an NIH K award from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, through which she is also undergoing additional training in advanced biostatistics, clinical trials, and implementation science. Dr. Stanski is particularly interested in how we might better identify the right patient for the right treatment in clinical trials (i.e., precision medicine), increasing the likelihood of seeing a treatment response from an effective therapy.
