Marlies Ostermann is Professor of Intensive Care and Nephrology at Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital in London. Her academic and clinical interests relate to acute kidney injury, extracorporeal organ support and sepsis in critically ill patients. She is Director of Research of the Intensive Care Society UK and Chair of the ERA AKI working group.
